NOTICES: Big Lost River Irrigation District – Water Season begins May 1, 2025. Irrigation Brochure Measuring Device placement: 50’ from the diversion. Any further must have board approval. All headgates will be locked. All measuring devices will be inspected before water is delivered. Flow meters at the pivot point must be at the pumping station. Canal maintenance is currently underway. Obstructions in the canal are a problem. Fences crossing the canal or on the canal bank, boards that hang down in the canal, protruding screens or other obstacles must be removed and will be removed by the Irrigation District during maintenance of the canal.
