NOTICES: Notice to Big Lost River Irrigation District Patrons BLRID will drain Mackay Reservoir by September 15, 2025, to facilitate essential engineering and maintenance work. This action is necessary to ensure the long-term functionality of the Reservoir. This work must begin in September to ensure this work does not interrupt the impoundment of water for next season. All patrons with outstanding storage water allocations or rotation credit water are strongly encouraged to utilize them before the second week of September. Any unused storage or rotation credit water will be emptied and not carryover to next season. For questions or further information, please contact BLRID at blridgm@atcnet.net or blrid@atcnet.net. All headgates will be locked. All measuring devices will be inspected before water is delivered. Flow meters at the pivot point must be at the pumping station. Canal maintenance is currently underway. Obstructions in the canal are a problem. Fences crossing the canal or on the canal bank, boards that hang down in the canal, protruding screens or other obstacles must be removed and will be removed by the Irrigation District during maintenance of the canal.
