Notice to Big Lost River Irrigation District Patrons
BLRID will drain Mackay Reservoir by September 15, 2025, to facilitate essential engineering and maintenance work. This action is necessary to ensure the long-term functionality of the Reservoir. This work must begin in September to ensure this work does not interrupt the impoundment of water for next season.
All patrons with outstanding storage water allocations or rotation credit water are strongly encouraged to utilize them before the second week of September. Any unused storage or rotation credit water will be emptied and not carryover to next season.
